In January of 2010, LIG founded the LIG Hope Volunteer Corps, starting with LIG Nex1’s Gumi Production Headquarters, and employees of all businesses are conducting various sharing activities as a volunteer team, such as visiting vulnerable facilities and homes in each region in connection with welfare institutions or specialized groups in the local community. In the future, the LIG Hope Volunteer Corps will conduct more systematic and continuous sharing activities for them to become workers and deliverers of love in the local community.
LIG is creating a warm world where people live together through various sponsorships and friendly matches to promote soccer for the disabled. Since 2008, regular exchanges have been ongoing between the company's soccer club and a disabled soccer team, and all of the LIG affiliates have raised funds to sponsor the national football championship for the disabled held by the Korea Football Association for the Disabled, which was established to promote the disabled.
In order to fulfill our social responsibility as a firm in the defense industry, LIG Nex1 signed an agreement saying that one company cares for one cemetery alongside the National Cemeteries, where the spirits of the martyrs and patriotic spirits reside. Each year we visit the 30th cemetery of the Seoul National Cemetery and the 4th cemetery of the patriotic branch of the Daejeon National Cemetery, with which we have established ties, and continue to keep the cemetery tidy as well as offer flowers and pay respects.
